Tantric Explorations

Tantra Highlights:

  • Tantra is as ancient as yoga.

  • Tantra is a spiritual practice that can affect all aspects of your life.

  • Modern Tantra has been influenced by many other practices, modalities and philosophies.

  • For me, tantra is a beautiful path to integrate my sexuality with my spirituality.

  • Tantra does not necessarily have to be sexual.

  • It is about awakening all your senses and learning to harness your most powerful energies, harness them and channel them to connect with your higher self and with anyone you choose to share it with.

  • Modern Tantra will focus a lot on sensual practices because it may be the shortest path to enlightenment.

  • In my studies I have learned the importance of expressing your desires, asking for what you want, communicating consent, and negotiating all the possibilities of what you can do together with anyone and everyone.

  • Before I practice Tantra…I do yoga, meditation, and make sure that I have energy. I groom myself. I eat right and I ask the spirit, the universe and our ancestors to guide me.

Tantra and Neo-Tantra provide a way to connect erotically, energetically, and emotionally. This practice respects boundaries and invites a freedom of self expression that is beautifully different from what we are accustomed to.

If done with dedication and mindfulness, Tantra can give us access to a higher state of consciousness which allows us to design our realities and manifest our secret heart’s desires. While incorporating my Hatha Vinyasa Yoga practice, I have tapped into the potential of integrating the energies of the Chakras and accessing the 1000 suns of shining light within the Third Eye Chakra.

Neo-Tantra can be focused on amazing sex, using sexual energy to manifest amazing miracles in your life, or becoming multi-orgasmic and enjoying ecstasy and bliss as much as possible.

Ancient Tantra focuses on self-knowledge and liberated joy as a path to enlightenment. (The Tantric Way - Art, Science, and Ritual by Ajit Mookerjee and Madhu Khanna)

The Tantric path is an alternative to the Sutric path (in which everything is stripped away in order to get to your spiritual core, your soul, your self). In the Sutric life you give up sex, money, meat, possessions, home, and all of the creature comforts. For some, this may lead to moving to a monastery and adopting a life of prayer.

The Tantric path embraces everything, the chaos, difficulty, suffering and uses that toward spiritual enlightenment. For some, Neo-Tantra is similar to sexual mysticism and the Kama Sutra - focused on pleasure.

Ancient Tantra embraces sex and everything else that is part of life, including suffering, and asks: how is this leading you to enlightenment? How is this helping you manifest your higher and best self? Can you use this for healing and growth (for you, your partner, and your community)? Along with: How can you enjoy life more, ecstatically?

Ancient Tantra encourages a strong awareness of your energetic body. Can you feel your chakras, can you feel the flow of energy, can you use your breath to move your energy? This can lead to more esoteric experiences, such as having sex with dieties and spending large amounts of time in an ecstatic state. For this, it is suggested that you...

  1. Commit to spiritual inquiry

  2. Clear out shame and judgment.

  3. Do everything and stay centered. Pursue wealth, pleasure, liberation and right-living (karma).

  4. Accept everything as holy and sacred.

What I Love About Tantra:

I usually incorporate Tantric principals into all of my sessions. For me, Tantra is part of my Yoga practice and Yoga is part of my Tantra practice. This doesn’t mean that every encounter is sexual. Tantra is so much more than that. Here are some of the lessons that I have learned from my studies over the past several years:

  • love and care for myself deeply and profoundly

  • accept my sexuality and pursue my desires without guilt or shame

  • get in touch with what I want and communicate it more clearly

  • speak my truth and be more authentic - celebrating freedom of expression

  • appreciate the immense importance of consent and boundaries, honor my own and respect everyone else’s

  • use breath and embodiment of emotions, thoughts, and feelings to ensure that I say yes with a full heart or no when I’m not ready to say yes or when I chose to say no - celebrating freedom of choice and autonomy

  • acknowledge my emotions, own them, and find healthier ways to express them

  • avoid projecting my stuff onto others and understand how people can be mirrors that give us insights into our hidden challenges

  • surrender to being loved and sharing love

  • tap into my unlimited potential to manifest my secret heart’s desires

  • rely on the support and connection of my tribe, my brothers in Tantra, to help me grow and expand my boundaries in a safe container

  • focus on building connection, trust, safety, respect, and love

  • play with the dynamics in each exchange and learn to balance giving and receiving

  • discover and explore unlimited techniques for increasing intimacy and pleasure

Of course, I didn’t learn all of these lessons just from my study of Tantra. However, it was Tantra that has truly helped me integrate all of them in ways that I never thought possible. This unique path has helped me integrate my sexual energies, emotional (heart) energies, and spiritual energies in a most beautiful and fulfilling way.

Private Tantra Sessions and Workshops:

I offer sessions drawing on the extensive Tantra training retreats that I have attended. Your session can be customized based on your previous experience or interests. It can include any variety of these practices:

  • Pranayama or basic Tantric breathing and eye gazing

  • Pelvic Rocking

  • Testicular Breathing

  • Chakra Activation through movement and touch

  • Meditation, Visualization, and Energy Channeling

  • Body Shaking and Activation of the Ecstatic Body

  • Tantric Partner Yoga

  • Five body touch techniques that correspond to the Chakras

  • 15 Strokes for the Lingam

  • Sexual Qi Gong

  • Thai Massage (in person sessions only)

  • Couples Coaching (virtual or in person)

  • Rosebud and Prostate Massage Techniques

  • Exploration of Kinks and Fetishes (premium sessions only)

The Tantric massage that I offer is unconventional in several ways. This massage is preferably done on mats, cushions or blankets on the floor. The area should be large enough to allow 2 adults to move about comfortably throughout the session. Both the receiver and I can be nude. A variety of positions which allow a high level of body to body contact will be explored. Sexual arousal is expected and celebrated, and will naturally ebb and flow. I use at least 4 different types of strokes that correspond to the 4 lower chakras. This technique helps integrate the lower chakras with the heart chakra, the sexual energy with the heart’s desire to connect. Instead of rushing into a sexual act, such as a hand job, oral sex, or anal sex, we tease up the sexual energy and re-sensitize and awaken the entire body with a variety of techniques. There will be attention given to the perineum in various ways at various points during the massage. I will also draw upon practices from the Tao and Qi Gong for stimulating the energy in the testicles, the sinibar zone, and the lingam (penis). Over 15 types of strokes may be used on the lingam. This may result in orgasm(s) with or without ejaculation.

Topics that will be covered in Workshops and as a series of sessions may include:

  • Emotional release, claiming your right to feel and show your emotions (anger, fear, sadness)

  • Techniques for connecting deeply with another person

  • Being ready, willing and able enough to explore and express yourself

  • Consent as a tool to freedom

  • Self pleasuring - beyond edging

  • How to have a Tantric spiritual experience

  • Explore your kinks and fetishes

  • Set your boundaries and honor limits (establish mutual respect and trust)

  • Feel the love flowing (no strings attached, opening up to polyamory and more)

  • Coping with shame (without psychotherapy)

  • Stories of Surrender (the banana split story)

  • Embodiment: listening to your body, trusting its wisdom, responding to physical sensations as opposed to thoughts

  • Resources, books, festivals, groups, teachers and coaches

All parts are optional, consent based at each transition, and will be paced according to the time allotted.

My Mission:

My mission is to provide a space for men seeking ways to express their authentic selves, find acceptance for their sexual desires, and liberate their inner sex god. This space will be judgement free, fun, and filled with love. It will allow men to connect through touch and self-expression, build trust and bond with other men. They will honor their own boundaries and respect the boundaries of others. Through this practice they will discover the potential to have a profound spiritual experience which integrates their erotic energies with their body, mind, and spirit.

Holding Space:

In all of my classes, workshops, and private sessions, I envision a space where every man feels that he is able to express his full erotic energy without shame and without judgment. They will freely give and receive with an open heart while setting boundaries with love and respect. They will be open up to the possibilities of saying yes; and will say no with love when they need to. This space will be filled with brothers who wish to share the gift of erotic pleasure with one another, allowing communication, laughter, joy and connection.

Sessions are open to men of all ages, colors, body types, orientations, backgrounds, abilities, experience levels, or relationship status. We are inclusive, body & sex positive.
